Debunking connectivity myths in Las Vegas

The dramatic shift within Enterprise networking over recent years has created a new world of truths. Next week, we’re attending the Gartner IT Infrastructure, Operations & Cloud Strategies conference in Las Vegas to debunk some common myths about connectivity (watch the trailer above!). From our position as the world’s #1 Internet backbone, I believe we have lot of insights to share on questions such as:
SD-WAN – big bang or smooth transition?
SD-WAN has almost overnight become one of the most popular abbreviation to use when talking about future networking. Listening around and you will hear, SD-WAN is the ONLY solution going forward, without SD-WAN your business network will die, etc. In my presentation in Las Vegas, I will talk about what we currently see – and from our experience feel – would be best for your network going forward.
Ubiquitous Internet connectivity – reality or myth?
While it is true that on Internet you can reach almost everything, everywhere you should be careful promising too much. As the worlds #1 Internet backbone we know quite a few things on how traffic is routed, who is connected to who and what you should be aware of. Ubiquitous – hmmm…
Cloud onramps – end-game or quick-fix?
Cloud services has been around for more than 10 years but still many discuss the best way to connect to them. Is it worth spending time and money on extensive connections or should you let the public Internet just find them?
Zero-touch and self-provisioning – as simple as it sounds?
Today, every operator say they are on an automation journey. Just a few things remains and then we are ready for self-serve and zero-touch. But is it that simple? What challenges do you need to overcome to reach the optimal customer experience?
These are just a few examples of questions I will try to answer during the session ‘Everything You Wanted to Know About Cloud-age Networking (But Were Too Afraid to Ask)’ taking place on December 11, 2019 at 03:00pm, room: Murano 3304.
If you don’t have the opportunity to join the speaker session, you can find us in the exhibition hall at booth #277, or book a meeting with us here.
Hope to see you in Vegas!
